HER JOURNEY
Mama Safi's Story of Caring for the Most Vulnerable
“I became a Care Worker when I received an invitation from my pastor to join the work of caring for orphans and vulnerable children. Right there, I said that as long as it is the work of God, I would like to support this work.”
- Mama Safi
Across Africa, Care Workers from the local church sacrificially give of themselves to care for the most vulnerable children in their community. They are committed to caring for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the children, ensuring that they are loved and cared for.
Care Workers are men and women from the local community church who were mobilised by Hands at Work to serve and care for the most vulnerable children. Each day, Care Workers prepare nutritious food for the children, create an environment for play and fun, and welcome them with love and kindness.
