MY LIFE: NEVER PHIRI, AFRICAN LEADER (SOUTH AFRICA)

“Looking back where I was in my faith compared to now, life is no longer the same. Understanding the word of God wasn’t easy for me. I would read the Bible and not understand what it meant, but listening to other people’s testimonies had a very good impact on my life.

People shared about how they met God and received the Holy Spirit! And when they shared about the word of God, I started to draw near to those things. My first step was to meditate on what I was reading, seeking understanding from Christ. I’ve read John 3:5 many times, and when another volunteer shared about baptism, I asked to be baptised.

Since then, it has been easy for me to identify the things that make me clean to God, and I have learned to confess my sins and repent to the Lord. The Hands at Work rhythms have made me the person I am today, and I am still growing. It’s a blessing to be part of the Hands family.”
