"Since joining the Hands at Work family, I’ve come to know the true God from Jesus Christ who is our model. Sometime back, all I knew about Christianity was participating in church activities like singing and giving the offering. But through Hands, I can see Christ in the lives of the most vulnerable children. For me, caring for them is worshipping God when I do it out of love. I’ve learned to know the heart of Jesus; being a servant instead of a boss. In our way of thinking, being a man of God is a title that people use to feel valued and be served instead of serving others. But Jesus has shown us the model of his humility. Over the years, I’ve learned to open up and share my wounds so that I can be prayed for and experience healing. This allows me to bring healing to other people instead of living in unforgiveness."
