Praise Points
Hands UK is thankful for the launch of plan God gave them called 1, 2, 3, 4; one vision, twice as many volunteers, three times as many partners, and four times as many children supported by the end of 2018. Hands UK has been motivated and encouraged to strive towards their goal.
A core team of individuals was formed to take ownership of aspects of Hands UK’s vision, such as finance, volunteers and teams, and partners. This group of people has started meeting every two weeks to pray, build relationships, and support each other as they seek God’s help in meeting their vision goals.
Praise God for the opportunity several Hands UK volunteers had to attend the International Offices Gathering in South Africa to meet other International Offices, go deeper with Hands, and build relationships.
Prayer Points
Pray God will equip each Hands UK volunteer with a boldness and prophetic voice to our churches, as we are all challenged to follow Christ’s call to care for the most vulnerable in our world.
Hands UK feels the need to grow the core team, both in numbers and in the depth of relationship with one other. Pray they can support each other as they seek the heart of God.
Pray Hands UK can continue to support our volunteers who have left behind family, friends, work, study, and home in the UK to volunteer in Africa. Pray especially for those who are going for the first time in 2016 to serve.
