Week 5 - The International Response: The Church
As Hands at Work stirs up and mobilises the local church to care for the most vulnerable, we envision the church outside Africa unified in this same mission. Together we are the body of Christ, and the International Church is also called to care for those in need.
Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows – Isaiah 1:17 (NLT)
Our Father calls us to bring justice to the weakest among us. Ask God to call forth more people within the International Church to give, pray, volunteer, and advocate for justice both internationally and in Africa. Pray for pastors and church leaders to be mobilised into action – inspiring others to humbly give their lives in service to the poor around the world.
