Week 6 - The Example of Jesus: Relationships
The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighbourhood - John 1:14 (MSG)
God chose to appear in human form through His Son Jesus, to have a relationship with each of us. As He wanted to know us, so we are called to know others.
And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person’s need was met. They followed a daily discipline of worship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful, as they praised God - Acts 2:44-46 (MSG)
Local leaders are focused on bringing our Care Workers together to share their stories with one another, to truly build meaningful relationships. In the same way, our children and youth are coming together through week-long camps where they are learning about the true healing power of Jesus, and also being encouraged to be vulnerable and share their testimonies with one another. Pray for the life-giving love of God to be infused into our communities and camps; into the neighbourhoods of our Care Workers and children.
