In Zambia, great hope is being brought by men who have been called by God to care as friends, father figures, and older brothers of orphaned and vulnerable children. Pray for these men to continue to have courage as they work against the cultural norms in Zambia. Ask God to provide for their families as they serve others. Pray their example will be a part of the transformation in their communities that will bring more servants from the local churches to give of themselves in caring for one another.
Gracious, a member of the Regional Support Team in Zambia, is a growing African leader. God is using him to bring hope and as an example to fathers + brothers in the way he serves in communities across the Zambia region. Pray for Gracious, and other leaders in Zambia stepping up to become role models for other men in their communities, that they would willingly be used to transform more men into leaders who desire to care for + serve the most vulnerable.
