Hands at Work dreams of transforming each of our Care Points across Africa into Life Centres – places where children can come, knowing that they are loved and accepted. Our prayer is that the Life Centres won’t simply be physical places but will be places where Care Workers, children and their families can experience the hope and healing of Christ. Join us in praying for transformation in the life of each person who comes to a Life Centre. Pray that people will, through Christ, receive healing from their brokenness and experience life in abundance.

Day 22 - Life Centres

Hands at Work dreams of transforming Care Points in each community across Africa into Life Centres. While this has looked vastly different over the past year due to the pandemic, the vision remains the same: to create a safe place where the most vulnerable can come, knowing that they are loved, accepted and cared for. Pray for the Care Workers and the local Hands at Work teams to find unique ways of creating a safe space of hope and refuge.

The Covid-19 restrictions have changed the way our children are able to gather and play at our Life Centres across Africa. It’s been encouraging to see how Care Workers have found creative ways to connect and play with the children despite the restrictions.
