Day 27 – Youth Leaders

The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. – Zephaniah 3:17

We dream of seeing the youth in the communities that we are serving, actively involved and engaged at the Care Points. It can be a challenge being a youth in the most vulnerable communities, as societal and family pressures can lead them to make negative decisions which in many cases, can have a direct impact on their future. Pray that as Care Workers and Hands at Work Local Office Teams invest into their lives, the youth will make positive life choices. Pray for our youth to experience the love and hope of Christ. Ask God to fill the youth with love, grace and patience as they help to serve the younger children at the Care Point.

Day 25 – Hands at Work Local Office Teams

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. – Hebrews 6:10

Hands at Work has Local Office teams across Africa who are committed to supporting the Care Workers and the the most vulnerable children. Pray for each person in the office to remain united in the truth of Jesus as they bring the hope and love of Christ to the most vulnerable.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. – Colossians 2:6-7

Hands at Work is committed to continually growing and developing our African Leaders into men and women of love and compassion. Ask God to deepen their understanding of the truth and promises in God’s word and His desire for their lives.

Day 23 – Raising African Leaders

Whoever wants to serve me must follow me, so that my servant will be with me where I am. And my Father will honour anyone who serves me. – John 12:26

Hands at Work desires to see African Leaders with hearts of grace and compassion serving the most vulnerable. Pray that God will send us more leaders with hearts that desire to be set apart from their cultural norms and sacrificially serve the most broken.
