The abduction of more than 200 young girls and the frequent attacks of rebel groups in Nigeria have brought further devastation to a desolate situation for over 100 million people living in poverty. Nigeria has the highest number of annual deaths from HIV/AIDS in the world. Ask God to remind the poorest and most oppressed people in Nigeria that they are close to His heart. Pray for each child who sleeps in a flooded slum and for each mother who has no choice but to work in the sex trade to provide for her family. Pray they will find fresh joy in the Lord.
