Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” - Luke 23:34 (NIV)
Jesus died being mocked and crucified. He died because God, the Father, called Him to. Today, pray that we may all live lives of obedience to our Father’s will. Ask God to remind us that when our desire to serve Him is not accepted by everyone, we only need to do what is pleasing to Him. Ask God to teach us to understand and practice the unconditional forgiveness that is offered by Jesus.
