HOLY SATURDAY
He himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed - 1 Peter 2:24 (NIV)
The day after Jesus died His friends and family and followers were left alone. They did not know if He really would rise again. Imagine how they felt, and how others feel who do not have Jesus in their lives. Today, pray for an outpouring of compassion for those who feel alone and abandoned. Jesus combined endless love with epic suffering, standing in solidarity with those who also suffered. Pray we too will stand in love with those who suffer the unimaginable.
