As we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection, remember His words: “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts” – Joel 2:12 (NLT) Arising from the dead, Jesus has shown us there is no wound too deep, no scar too unbearable that He cannot heal.

He himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed - 1 Peter 2:24 (NIV)

The day after Jesus died His friends and family and followers were left alone. They did not know if He really would rise again. Imagine how they felt, and how others feel who do not have Jesus in their lives.

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” - Luke 23:34 (NIV)

Jesus died being mocked and crucified. He died because God, the Father, called Him to. Today, pray that we may all live lives of obedience to our Father’s will.
